Welcome to the section where we showcase odd-looking common species - birds that could lead an observer to think a much rarer species is involved. The purpose is to educate - and maybe save a few blushes. If you have a candidate for the gallery contact the webmaster. By its very nature this kind of gallery is subjective, so while this feature is endorsed by the TBRC, all choices for material and identifications belong to the webmaster alone.
BE AWARE that all images were prepared on a 15-inch monitor - if you are using a larger monitor the colors will look rather washed-out. The only way to resolve this would be to provide duplicate images of everything, and there is not enough web site space to do this.
